From the first time you strap into a Legend Car or Bandolero, you become a part of a fraternity of racers that stretches over 30 years. Beginning with the idea for an affordable race car by the late O. Bruton Smith and former Charlotte Motor Speedway General Manager Humpy Wheeler, famed road course champion Elliott Forbes-Robinson helped develop the very first Legend Car. It was a 5/8-scale version of the NASCAR modifides made famous by NASCAR legends Fireball Roberts, Curtis Turner, Buck Baker, Speedy Thompson, and Banjo Matthews.

The Kyle Busch Invitational at Bowman Gray Stadium featured 67 Legend Cars and Bandoleros drivers on August 21st. Sponsored by ProFabrication Inc., the event raised $15,900 for the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund, supporting families’ dreams of parenthood through combined efforts of INEX Racing Series and U.S. Legend Cars International.

In conjunction with Bowman Gray Stadium, INEX Racing Series and U.S. Legend Cars International is proud to announce the Kyle Busch Invitational on Friday, August 21. The special event will be for Legend Cars and Bandoleros, honoring the contributions Kyle Busch made to motor racing, with all event proceeds benefitting the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund.

The U.S. Legend Cars International in Harrisburg, NC, will undergo two facility upgrades. Limited shipping and parts services run August 18-19. A full shutdown from Sept 28 to Oct 2 affects Shipping, Parts, Fabrication, and Engine departments. Orders received then won't ship until improvements finish. Plan orders accordingly.
