The 2015 U.S. Legend Cars International and INEX points season officially begins Friday, March 6th. We are excited to welcome all of our competitors back, and looking forward to introducing new racers to our program!
For the upcoming season, we will be giving new opportunities to acquire points towards a national title.
1. Legend drivers, regardless of division, that place first overall in a race with a minimum of 15 cars on track will receive a 100 point victory towards their national points total.
Example:
In a division combined race: 7 Young Lions, 7 Semi-Pros, 3 Masters and 4 Pros (21 total)
If a Master or Pro wins the overall race, they will be award a 100 point win because this field has at least 15 cars. All other cars will be awarded points based on the normal points scale.
2. Bandolero and Asphalt drivers, the number of races counted towards your national points total has been reduced from 21 (Bandos) and 25 (Asphalt) to 20. We will take a driver's top 19 finishes, plus their best National Qualifier finish to make for a total of 20 races (INEX Rulebook 102, 106).
