What a weekend it was racing style in the Lone Star Region!!!!
The Rev had 26 Legends and 2 Bando's! The Legends were seperated Young Lion /Semi Pro and Master Pro! The race of the day was in the Young Lion/Semi Pro Race when the 14 of Cameron Hickenbottom and the M-16 of Coby Henslee battled out the entire race for second and third position! These two drivers have come a L O N G way in just a few months!!! The winner of that race was Tyson Goudy ...he was a good bit ahead of this action and made it look easy for the win! Michael Dabney Jr, Took the honors in the Master/Pro race a late caution made it look like anything could happen but he motored the 50 car to victory Lane! The Bandolero's raced with the two cars and those drivers are improving weekly! Car count may be low but the enthusiasm is still in those young drivers!Central Texas had 9 Bandolero's this weekend! The new "push" rule worked out well and CTS tried something a little different.....they did an inversion!!!!! The inversion shook the field and we now have yet ANOTHER first career winner to join Curtis Irwin and Matthew Barnard from last weekends racing!!!
