Our 2019 Road Course Masters Champion and our 2019 Asphalt Oval Masters Champion are both titles that Shaun Buffington holds. Buffington is from Plainfield, Connecticut, and can be found at his home track, New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He has been racing since he was five years old after following in his father's footsteps.

Buffington says that his most memorable moment this season was winning the Road Course race at Atlanta Motorsports Park to wrap up the World Championship. When asked if he would redo any race, he replied, "I wouldn't change any of them, because the outcome of each race got me to where I am this season."

Buffington states that the biggest struggle he had to overcome this season was winning the National Championship with ten to go. He says, "It didn't look possible, but we never gave up."

Winning both of these championships this year is unbelievable to Buffington. "I am blessed to be surrounded by such great people that made this possible.

When asked what advice he would give the next group of drivers following behind him, he replied, "Believe in yourself and your abilities. Treat people the way you want to be treated on and off the track."

As for next season, Buffington has not made any plans yet. "I am just enjoying the success from this year." He would like to thank many people, including his mom and dad, Lainey, Ryan, Doug Stevens, Ryan Decandia, Darren and Kristin Gallant, Mark and Jenn Walker, Kenny Barry, The Quintal Agency Inc, Camarro Signs and Thomas Buffington Auto Care Center.

Congratulations to our 2019 Road Course Masters Champion and our 2019 Asphalt Oval Masters Champion, Shaun Buffington.
