By: Kelly Giddings

Chloe Lynch, our 2019 Bandolero Outlaw West Champion, is from Las Vegas, Nevada. You can find Lynch at her home track, The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Lynch expresses how excited she is to win the West Coast Championship. "To reach this level of success in only my second full season is beyond amazing!" Lynch and her team decided before the season started that they were going to go all in. "We set the goal to win the West Coast National Title, the Nevada State Title, and The Bullring Title. Achieving our goal has been epic!" Lynch is the first female Bandolero national titleholder, which makes this championship to her, "even sweeter."

Lynch has only been racing for a little over two years. She got started by going to the track with her dad and uncle. When her dad asked her if she would be interested in racing a Bandolero car, Lynch jumped at the opportunity. Three weeks later, Lynch and her family purchased her first car. "We've had a blast traveling to various tracks on the West Coast."

Lynch says that if she could redo any race of the season, it would be the final race. "I was involved in a really bad crash on lap two and wasn't able to finish the race." This was Lynch's first DNF of the season. "I would have really loved to finish that race." When asked what the biggest struggle Lynch faced this season was, she replied, "This season, we had a great car and perfect set up. We really didn't have many struggles until the final weekend." During the last race, she blew the engine in the Bandolero while in practice. After replacing it with a backup, she went back out and blew that one up as well. Luckily for Lynch, a sponsor was able to get her a new engine. "Unfortunately in lap 2 I got sideways and was plowed by two cars, ending our night. With only a few laps to go, the commentators had announced I had won the track championship by only 6 points. It was a bittersweet ending to the season."

Lynch says that her most memorable moment this season is hard to pick because there were quite a few. "But nothing could compare to winning my first Saturday night feature in front of all of my family, friends, and the fans." Lynch has many people she would like to thank after her 2019 Bandolero Outlaw West Championship. She wants to thank her mom and dad, "without their constant support, I wouldn't be able to do what I love. From countless hours working on my car to getting me to the track with just minutes to spare before my race, I thank you." She would also like to thank her sponsors, Electric Sunglasses, Bigger Brand Media, Motorsports. Web, Lynch Estates-Urban Nest Realty, Value Auto Service-Napa Auto Care, Franks Radio, Platinum Collision, and Napa Auto Parts. Congratulations to Chloe Lynch, our 2019 Bandolero Outlaw West Champion.
