October 1, BETHEL, NY - Nearing the completion of its first full season under new ownership, Bethel Motor Speedway is set to send the year out with a bang as it hosts "Bethel Motor Madness" this weekend, October 3rd and 4th. This weekend will mark the final racing at the 1/4-mile asphalt oval for the 2009 season.

"Bethel Motor Madness" will feature three feature races over the course of the two days, with both Legends and Bandoleros on the schedule. Legends will run two 25-lap features on Saturday, and one 35-lap feature on Sunday. The number of laps for the Bandoleros will be dependent on the number of cars.

No heat races will be run, with the focus being on features. Drivers will draw for starting position in the first race. An invert will then be used to set the field for the second race. Sunday's feature lineup will be based on average finishes from the first two features.

Gates will open at 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, with hot laps at 3 p.m. and racing at 5 p.m. Grandstand admission is $5. each day. Pit admission is $35 for either Saturday or Sunday, or $60 for a two-day pass.
